Creating a workspace for innovators in health and care

Our award-winning workspace was designed to encourage interaction, inspire creative thinking, and foster collaboration and innovation in health and care.

As part of our aim to strengthen the conditions for innovation in our region and support innovators, our Vantage Point office in Exeter acts as a central workspace for the South West’s health and care sector. Since opening our doors in 2018 we have welcomed a variety of partners for meetings and events, including individual innovators, local health and care professionals, Trusts, universities and healthcare providers.

We are now the event and meeting venue of choice for several health and care organisations across our region, and our reputation as an effective, well-managed events space is spreading, creating new opportunities for us each day.

In January, February and March 2024, Vantage Point hosted three Perinatal Pelvic Health Maternity Training Roadshows. Over 300 members of maternity teams from across the South West attended these sessions to understand Perinatal Pelvic Health Services (PPHS) Devon, and how they could contribute to improving women and birthing people’s long term pelvic health.

In May 2023 we launched Innovator Head/SPACE, a free weekly opportunity for health and care innovators to take advantage of our modern and well-appointed workspace. Innovators have use of a desk and the office facilities for the day, as well as the opportunity to meet with a member of our Innovator Support Team for advice and guidance, if required. Many use our space for meetings with clients, customers and suppliers, making it a great place to meet and network with local health and care providers.
