NOAH project commended at NHS England Excellence Awards 2026

The NOAH (Neonatal Oral Antibiotics at Home) project has been commended by South West regional judges in the Delivering Value category at the NHS England Excellence Awards 2026, taking second place in a highly competitive field.

Run by NHS England, the NHS Excellence Awards recognise innovation, improvement and leadership across health and care, celebrating work that delivers better outcomes for patients and supports system-wide improvement.

Selected from 248 submissions across the South West, NOAH was recognised for its strong collaborative approach and its impact in enabling safe, effective neonatal care closer to home for babies and their families. You can find out more about the project here.

This recognition reflects the strength of partnership working across organisations, including our partners at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and ARC South West, whom we have worked alongside to develop, deliver and evaluate the programme.

Health Innovation South West is proud to support NOAH, and we look forward to continuing to share learning from the programme as it develops further.
