Innovations in Cancer
Peninsula Cancer Alliance and Health Innovation South West are jointly hosting Innovations in Cancer, a full-day, free in-person event set to bring together partners from across the South West Peninsula to explore how cancer innovations are identified, adopted, and scaled into routine practice.
The event is designed to strengthen collaboration across the cancer system and build shared confidence and capability to implement innovation that improves patient outcomes and delivers wider system benefits. We will provide a dedicated space to connect with peers, showcase current innovation activity, and actively contribute to shaping a Peninsula-wide Cancer Innovation Strategy.
This in-person event is open to anyone across the system with an interest in cancer innovation.
What to expect
On the day, we will:
- Discover current and emerging cancer innovations being delivered across the South West Peninsula, including real-world examples of adoption and scale
- Explore how innovation moves through the innovation journey, from finding and bringing innovation into the NHS through to adoption into business as usual
- Connect with colleagues across organisations and sectors, building relationships and understanding who can support innovation adoption locally
- Take part in an Innovation Marketplace, where selected innovators will showcase solutions currently operating or emerging within the system, with opportunities for informal discussion and engagement
