Health Education South West launch Star Awards 2015/16
Health Education South West have this week launched the Star Awards for 2015/16. This award and recognition programme celebrates the very best in education and training across the health and care sector in the south west. They are open to individuals or teams providing healthcare or public health services for NHS patients and service users in NHS trusts, general practice, local authority, education and independent or private settings including those providing pharmacy, dental and optometry services.
The categories are open to people in all professions, staff groups and at all levels across the south west, with the winner from each category receiving a £500 bursary towards their continued professional development, paid directly to their organisation. Similar award schemes already run in other LETB areas and these awards will also encompass our successful Apprenticeship Awards programme.
The search is now on for outstanding finalists in the following categories:
- Inspiring Educator
- Outstanding Learner
- Wonderful Workforce Solution
- Education and Training Team of the Year
- Hearing the Patient Voice
- Education and Innovation Champion
- Intermediate Apprentice of the Year
- Advanced Apprentice of the Year
- Higher Apprentice of the Year
- Inspirational Apprentice Award
- NHS Values Award (Awarded by the HESW Independent Chairman)
